Answer #3:
Chicken Quesadillas are super easy to make.First you have to make the chicken. You can make it any way you like, but I like to boil, shred, and season mine with chili powder. takes about 20 minutes.
then i take one large tortilla, put the chicken on one half of it, put a little salsa (whatever your favorite flavor is) on top of that, and then plenty of cheese. (From here you can microwave if you want, but soooo much better in the pan). put the pan on about medium heat, and put the tortilla in the pan, the tortilla should only be half full, remember? once you can see the cheese starting to melt, fold the empty half over the full half and leave it for a minute or two, then flip it. once the cheese is melty how you like it, take it off, cut it up, and enjoy with sour cream or guac or whatever you like. here's a couple of additional recipes to get you going.
Answer #4:
Chicken quesadillas are so simple -Here's how we do it at our house.
Get a pack of flour tortillas
a bit of butter
chicken cut up (marinate it (we like a BBQ or chipolte marinade) and grill it first)
cheddar cheese
monterey jack cheese
If you'd like you can add or all of these too - or leave them out.
beans
sauted peppers and onions
your favorite salsa
green onions
salt
pepper
chili powder
To have on the side for dunking :
sour cream
guacamole
my kids always liked ketchup!
salsa
Butter back of tortilla, then place it in frying pan (it should be off or just warming) flat, butter side down. Put cut up chicken and both cheeses (and anything else your adding) on the lower half of the tortilla. Fold upper portion of tortilla over the top of the lower portion where the ingredients are. Turn on heat to frying pan. Filp once with spatula and the assistance of a fork. It can be tricky, but its totally doable once you get the hand of it.
Enjoy!
