I would say go to an Armenian Store they have all sorts of Pita Bread... If you don't have one in your town then ask at any middle-eastern store or restaurant... They should be some help...
Good luck that recipe sounds good... I think even if you can't find them you use a wheat english muffin might go...

Wegmans, if there is one in your area. They have mini pita's that look exactly like this. Trader Joe's might have them also - preservative free.
