At Harrys Seafood, located in St. Augustine, FL I had DELICIOUS Baked French Style Mahi Mahi, any Recipes??
The Mahi was so delicious.... It was Parmesan crusted & had a creamy sauce. I have been searching for the recipe ever since.........I live in Colorado & we don't have a Harry's :(I also LOVED the Voo Doo Shrimp appetizer So YUMMY!!!! I think I might be able to closely guess the VooDoo Shrimp.......hope so!

I was at a party recently and the host had as one of the appetizers a dish she called "Cowboy Caviar".?
I have researched and researched for a dish the compares to her's, but can't find anything that sounds remotely close. She said she got the recipe from a lady who visited Russia(she said it was in a Russian Cookbook). I've asked for the recipe twice, but I guess I'm not going to get it, so I'm asking you guys. I can remember some of the ingredients, but not all. It had a layer of cream cheese on the bottom, layered on top of the cheese was black beans, garlic, onion(maybe?), and I remember her mentioning either lime or lemon juice. The most destinctive ingredient was chopped boiled egg on top of the dish. It was served with Tostido chips and was GREAT! I don't remember tomato or peppers being in it.All the "Cowboy Caviar" recipes I've research on the Net are totally different than the dish I ate. I would soooo love this recipe.
